These robust UK manufactured cabinets which fully conform to health & safety executive guide HSG51 and DSEAR 2002.

Our market leading Hazstor acid & alkali cabinets are manufactured to the same high specification as hazardous substance cabinets providing secure contained storage of hazardous liquids, they have been designed to offer good structural stability and safely contain spillages within the cabinets leak proof sump. Suitable for the secure storage of chemicals, paints, solvents and dangerous substances as classified by CHIP and the new CLP regulation.

Not suitable for the storage of Sulphuric Acid, Nitric and Hydrochloric Acids

GHS labelling will be supplied on acid & alkali cabinets, the primary label is ‘Corrosion’, additional alternative labelling supplied loose includes ‘Aquatic Toxicity’ and ‘Harmful/Irritant. Labels are easy peel type to allow switching of the primary label. Additional GHS signage and chemical information segregation chart supplied within each cabinet.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Best Practice…  Cabinets supplied with welded fixed sumps. Extracting a heavily laden sump is both difficult, dangerous and unsafe and risks contamination from the contents of the sump onto operatives.

Our cabinets are manufactured with an integral leak-proof base sump. Spillages should be removed with use of a suitable absorbent material or siphon pump. Purchase absorbents here
